Since its founding in 2007, the YOUNG ART AUCTION (YAA) has established itself as a fixture within Vienna’s cultural scene and, over the years, has taken place at renowned venues such as the Albertina, the 21er Haus, and Vienna’s MuseumsQuartier. Across 18 auction evenings to date, more than 640 works have been sold, generating total sales of over 900,000 euros, with 90% of the hammer price going directly to the artists. For the years 2025 and 2026, the YOUNG ART AUCTION is held under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Klaus Albrecht Schröder.

The YAA is specifically dedicated to young artists under the age of 35, particularly students and graduates of national and international art academies and universities. The selection of submitted works is made jointly by the ARTCARE team together with external jury members. In previous years, the jury has included Günther Oberhollenzer, Doris Richter, Elsy Lahner, and Severin Dünser, among others. The auctions are conducted by experienced auctioneers such as Mag. Andrea Jungmann, Gallus Pesendorfer, and Otto Hans Ressler.
