Located in the historic silk factory on Mollardgasse in Vienna’s 6th district, the creative agency dotsandlines has found its creative home here for several years. The listed brick building combines industrial character with a sense of green calm in the heart of the city.
The office is conceived as an open-plan space: flexible work zones, lounge areas, meeting rooms, and tech spaces merge into a cohesive creative environment. Subtle, harmonious tones - terracotta, soft pink, and neutral earth hues - create warmth and tranquility, complemented by carefully selected furniture highlights. Wood, textile, and acoustic elements shape the atmosphere and encourage creative exchange.
A central element of the space is art.
Spread across both floors, works by international and local artists activate the space and shape daily interaction. Paintings by Jakob Veigar Sigurdsson (Iceland) and Markus Oehlen (Germany) introduce abstract dynamism, while photographs by Benjamin Eichhorn and minimalist works on paper by Anat Stainberg offer a subtle counterpoint.
dotsandlines is a Vienna-based creative agency that has been designing solutions for people, brands, and digital products since 2017. For companies, the agency creates branding and digital experiences that inspire, engage, and generate sustainable value. Under the management of Stefan Ortmair, the team works with renowned clients such as IKEA, Energie AG, Westbahn, and the European Forum Alpbach, among others.
The agency places strong emphasis on a holistic approach that intelligently connects strategy, design, and technology. dotsandlines sees itself as a partner for transformation, guided by a high standard of design quality.

Benjamin Eichhorn
O.T. (Camouflage), 2019
C-Print, 124cm x 93cm
> available works
Benjamin Eichhorn (*1982, Waidhofen an der Thaya) engages in his photographic practice with the transformation of everyday objects, often employing a subtle, almost absurd sense of humor. In series such as Juliette’s Garden or STILL, he photographs tools, furniture, or floral arrangements that he has previously altered using fabrics, patterns, or surfaces.
His images question the familiar function of objects and open them up to a visual space in which object, sculpture, and photography begin to blur. Through precise lighting and restrained composition, Eichhorn creates works that shift the banal toward the surreal, quietly transforming spaces without raising their voice.

Anat Steinberg
Black Cutout on the side, 2019
Acrylic on canvas, 100cm x 70cm
> available works
Anat Stainberg’s work emerges at the intersection of performance, painting, and language. The body plays a central role in her practice and profoundly shapes her way of working. This is reflected in a deliberate sense of restraint within her images. Fine lines, monochrome surfaces, and sparse color accents define her paintings on paper and canvas. The works often evoke movement or breath — appearing light and open, yet highly focused.
Stainberg understands reduction not as limitation, but as a means of creating space. Her images invite perception without imposing themselves. They are quiet, clear, and carry a strong presence in their restraint.
Anat Stainberg was born in Tel Aviv and has lived in Vienna since 2007. She works as an actress, performance artist, curator, and painter.

Markus Oehlen
Wotriva I-III, 1998
multicoloured screenprint, je 70cm x 100cm
> available works
Markus Oehlen is regarded as one of the defining figures of the Neue Wilde movement. In his painting, he combines expressive fields of color with digital image structures, graphic elements, and references to pop culture. His works appear as dense visual collages - complex in composition, deliberately overloaded, and often chaotic. Analog and digital image worlds collide and exist in constant tension.
Oehlen works across media, including painting, sculpture, printmaking, and music. Many of his works are driven by a strong sense of energy and follow an almost rhythmic order. Characteristic are layers of comic-like motifs, geometric structures, and gestural painting.
Markus Oehlen lives and works in Munich, where he also teaches at the Academy of Fine Arts.

Jakob Veigar Sigurdsson
I must say we are going to have so much fun, 2022
oil on canvas, 250cm x 200cm

Jakob Veigar Sigurdsson
Untitled, 2018
oil on canvas, 155cm x 140cm
> available works
Jakob Veigar Sigurdsson, a graduate of the Iceland Academy of the Arts (2016) and the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna (Mag. 2019), lives and works in Vienna. Originally trained in the crafts, he translates his experiences with natural forces and chaotic environments into large-scale paintings and, occasionally, videos, textiles, and sound installations.
Residencies and extended stays in Iran and India have served as important sources of inspiration, enriching his visual vocabulary through encounters with traditional craft practices. His oil paintings are characterized by a rough, textured materiality and an organic color dramaturgy in which viewers are invited to lose themselves.
